Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, where I still live today.
I'm married with a house full of animals: two dogs and three cats (as you can see on the right). My wife is an artist, and it's her creative spirit that re-kindled my love for photography after a long hiatus.
Since I picked up my camera again, I can rarely be seen without it strapped to my back. I've accumulated tens of thousands of photos, and have had my work shown around town in events such as AMP (at the andy warhol museum), Flux 9 (at the beehive in oakland), Flux 12 (as part of the pittsburgh signs project), Hothouse '04 (as part of the pittsburgh signs project), Art All Night in Lawrenceville in 2003, 2004, and 2005, and I had my first solo show at Pitsburgh Filmmakers in July 2005.
My work has been featured in print as well, in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Pittsburgh City Paper, The Front Weekly, the now-defunct Pulp, in corporate brochures, and so on.
I have a degree in English Writing (fiction) from the University of Pittsburgh, which is to say I have a very expensive piece of paper.
Have something to say to me? Questions? Want me to shoot something for you? Just gimmie a holler; I'd be glad to hear from you.
